Benefits of Going Remote – Hiking Inspiration

I was at a hike with my little angel and came across shrubs of so many kinds. The like that we had never seen before, we explored them and interacted with them, fascinated with their colors, texture and how they grew from such arid land, far apart from each other. But just a little down the hill there were trees that belittled what we were witnessing – as I keep saying, we should not limit ourselves to the talent we see near us, we should go remote or we will miss out on what the world has to offer.

Remote – down the hill

As the sun rose the greenery cultivated at ground level became apparent to us and we noticed that though the shrubs we were coming across were captivating in themselves they were nothing compared to what was available at a little distance. The plants below were far more dense, colorful and so much more pleasant. With a little help from the gardener the same arid land yielded such beautiful flowers.

Talent and Greenery

Similarly we believe talent is available around the world. Though local talent has its own place and responsibility, often there is talent out there that is far more capable and resourceful than you can imagine. And because you don’t move it from their home ground they might also be able to add value at a more reasonable rate. This is why it is so important to go remote!

Similarly, companies are sometimes focusing on the office locations and limit themselves to the talent that is available locally. If they open their doors to the talent remotely they might be surprised to find beauty that they had not imagined possible. I have come across creativity amongst nations that I least expected with apt cultural awareness that boggled my mind. And interestingly due to the geographical pay gap they are far more affordable than the local ones. Anyone who is ignoring remote work is missing out.
